Manufactured with 5,000# psi concrete and reinforced with 1/2” rebar on 12” centers, combined with 10-gauge steel wire mesh, our SI Precast storm shelters are built to withstand extreme conditions. Features include powder-coated steel stairs and railing, an electrical port for wiring, and a reinforced 12-gauge steel door with a custom-designed three-point latching system that can be opened from the inside, even if damaged or locked.
Meeting the rigorous standards of FEMA and passing stringent testing by the Wind Institute at Texas Tech University, our storm shelters provide unmatched protection and security for you and your family.
